A nice mix of participants this time in the Utility-scale Battery Storage Systems (BESS) training.
I noticed that the mean age of participants is slowly shifting now at the end of about 2 years of offering this training. Before it was a topic of interest for participants under 30 years of age. Now the interest is also starting to develop among more senior engineers and decision makers.
The questions used to centre around ‘What if we had BESS’ to now ‘We know we want BESS, how can we safely do this?’. A nice progression to observe.
No deficit of good and challenging questions here.

We are optimistic to contribute and see how these discussions will shape upcoming projects and support the wider (and safer) adoption of energy storage in Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
