A 3-hour Submarine Power Cables webinar for Heads of ASEAN Power Utilities/Authority (HAPUA) Working Group 5.
As the collaboration for development of the ASEAN Power Grid and continued efforts for cross-border electricity trade gain momentum, submarine power cables play the critical function in linking isolated grids.
In this session, we discussed the practicalities of submarine power cable engineering with the group of participants from the various power utilities within the region. A case study of a submarine cable failure investigation was also presented.
